buying a modded console seems unlikely seeing is how most legitimate retailers check th 360 consoles to see if they have been opened or tampered with, if you know about tech stuff its not that hard to tell if someone messed with a 360
Friendly AI is bad in pretty much every game on the planet, nice try though. Ive never played a game on any platform in any console or PC generation where i watched the AI and said "wow that was smart AI partner" several times.

God of War 2, various Socom titles, MGS 2 and 3, these and many more use the same game engines as their first title, and these and many more do not have massive graphical upgrades. People complain that L4D2 is an exoansion, but by this standard, so is God of War 2 and many, many, many other sequels.
I guess it would be too far of a stretch for anyone on here who does not play 360 to compliment previous good games from Epic and think that they could produce more good ones for the 360.
How is the newspaper and tv any different from online gaming? All of them you pay for their continued service, and both cable tv and online gaming are forms of entertainment. The newspaper provides basic, recent info about the world that is critical to know, but you still have to pay to receive a paper.

And to Raztad, i was not defending the other VGA nominees, but i would not include Killzone 2 on any GOTY list, because it is not a good candidate. L4D2 and Modern Warfare do not deserve it either, all they did was refine, not innovate.
Killzone 2 did not get nominated because it brought NO INNOVATION. get it through your little heads. Good graphics is not enough to make a game amazing, you have to do something to the features and/or gameplay to make a game genuinely good, durka durka. Making a turd look pretty doesnt means its still not a turd. Killzone 2 is no turd, but its definitely not a game of the year game.

The PS3 doesnt really have a definitive co-op game like the 360 does, and they need one. I guess you could count LBP, but all you do is hop around on your friends maps and stuff.

actually, for the 95% of you that do not play regularly on Xbox Live like i do, COD4 and MW2 do a very good job for P2P servers, i never lagged in them hardly at all unless it was my own bad connection. I never lag in Halo either, the only big game on 360 in which P2P sucks is Gears of War 2, its horrible. 70-80% of your matches you cant even really tell what is going on.

I just completed MW2 on 360 and its fantastic, still need to play an ass load of MP and Spec Ops. Great game worthy of at least a 9.0
Its impossible for any developer to properly test servers and connectivity before a game as popular as MW2 launches. Several million people will all be playing online at once when the game is released, and a dev is suppose to accurately test those numbers before a game is launched?
